Well it sure has been one full long day for me. Rushing off to school to get ready for my FYP Prototype Demonstration, collecting my long awaited new toy, meeting up with a good friend and classmate Benjamin to conquer botak jones, watching Speed Racer with Derick, Nat, Aaron and Daniel and finally saying good bye to my new toy.
All I can say is thanks to my friends who caught the premiere of it for warning me about the colours. Took awhile to get used to the colours used but once thats in, the movie was one roller coaster ride. Truly one worth a weekend movie ticket price.
And if there is one thing I can take home from the show, its these lines -
Speed: Racing hasn't changed, and it never will.
Racer X: It doesn't matter if racing never changes. What matters is if we let racing change us. Every one of us has to find a reason to do this. You don't climb into a T-180 to be a driver. You do it because you're driven.
It reminds me that there will be times when giving it my all still does not seem enough. But as long as I know why I continue to try my best and not let the situation discourage me, I can carry on. As long as there is the right conviction, the rest will fall into place.
And to end the day, we went over to the usual japanese eating place over at cuppage to have dinner/supper.
Just some of the pictures I manage to take before everyone starting attacking.
Nights,
Kenneth.
