My way of holding onto the things I love, the Things I am and the Things I never want to lose...

One long Post...

Have you ever wondered who invented Mother's day? Well my sister says it's a gift card company that did it. I have no idea if the original intention was good but when there is money to be made, one can only wonder.

Anyway while my family never really quite make it a big occasion to celebrate mother's day(well not saying its wrong though, just different view points), we made it a point to spend time together. It was off to marina square for some simple tim sum lunch.

Lunch At "Bao Today", haha direct translation.

Dear Meat Bao... I mean Deer Meat Bao. Me and my sister had a few rounds of jokes on this. Wanted to take the poster which started it but somehow forgot to.

After lunch, we all took a walk to suntec. As usual my sister and mother went off window and actual shopping while me and my dad went to look at handphones. It was quite "funny" that in the end my mother's and sister's handphone went out of battery and they had to use a pay phone to arrange where to meet up. Maybe next time they should have battery chargers nearby where you can like pay abit to charge your battery.

We ended up at Killiney's Cafe before going home to rest our tired legs(esp mine after the 7.4km jog I had the day before). Somehow my appetite is getting better and I decided to reward myself by having waffles and ice-cream since I did not get to have it at the last trip to Illy's.

The evening was spent watching the final match of the BPL season. And while most of us expected it to end with goal difference separating the two teams, I guess no one would have guessed that it would end on such a note.

Watching Ryan Giggs come on for his 758th appearance and then by securing the BPL title by scoring the last ever goal for Man Utd for this BPL season was something I guess this old loyal and faithful servant deserves. And of cos after all the talk about winning on goal difference and a play off should be done instead, knowing that Chelsea drew with Bolton made it all the better.

Guess Elliott was right, Everything Will Even Out In Time.

And to complete the day on a good note, seems that getting my Orange Haro is now almost a reality. Thanks to Charlene, I now have the option of brining in that orange robot pet from japan.

Yay they have the orange colour one as well

Straight out from the Gundam 00 series

Although I still cannot decide which one to get. Seems like back here in SG, the orange ones are either not here yet or really over priced. Will get back you soon regarding this. Thanks again.

And last but not least, this is gonna be quite a busy week for me. Meeting up for Lunch at Illy's this week to try out their set lunch and use our 10% discount. Gonna catch speed racer also since everyone went to watch it without me(haha joking, thanks for the reviews though), got my meeting with my fyp supervisor, got my fyp prototype presentation and I gotta start camping for tickets for Indiana Jones.

Which reminds me, my handphone is getting abit cranky with the sms so please either call me or drop me an email or msn. I am usually online most of the time so I should get it quick. Especially when it comes to booking the tickets for Indiana Jones. Plus I will be really busy this week so do let me know early or something.

Well off to get something to snack on before I start work.

Cheers,
Kenneth.
