"Say (All I Need)" by OneRepublic

The Latest Single from One Republic. Didn't really think much of the song until I started paying attention to the lyrics and it slowly grew on me.

This is one of those songs that can speak differently to different people in different situations. It can speak of how something is really draining you out and all you want is a place to rest your head. It can also speak of knowing what your heart really wants and asking if you would trade it for something else.

And to me, it speaks of going back to basics. That all we need is just the air to breathe and a place to rest our heads. Once we get that right, we will know where our heart is and what it really wants. And at the end of it all, we can let go of all that is holding us back and move forward.

Thanks to a good friend of mine for sharing this song last night(or should I say early this morning) and for finding the music video for me. Its always heart warming to have friends like that. Friends who you do not always have to see every other day but yet always somehow you can click with. Guess we could have gone on chatting if not for her mother nagging that its 2am and me knowing that I need my rest for my jog later. Catch up with you over coffee or something I guess. Been ages since I last saw you(well if you managed to find my new blog anyway.)
