Youtube Is Working Again... Finally...

This was meant to be more of a test post than a proper one but since I am posting might as well. Yeah seems like starhub finally settled the stupid Youtube problem. Hopefully it doesn't go crazy again and refuse to load the videos. What would I do without youtube...

So here goes the testing part:

About The Song:
"The title became Distance because...looking back I realised that most of the songs in the album were about interaction between people; the distance between people. Emotion, mentality. Cause, you know, we all wanna get to know each other, and shorten that distance between people we love. That distance is never gonna be nothing. I mean, there's always gonna be a bit of it left, no matter how close you get. We have to love that distance too, if you're gonna love somebody. That's why I titled it that way".

How Final Distance came about(credits from wikipedia):
"Distance" originally appeared in the Distance album, and was planned to be released as a single. However, Utada heard of a school stabbing rampage in which schoolgirl Rena Yamashita (山下玲奈) had died. Rena had previously won an essay competition; writing about how she wanted to become a singer just like Utada. Utada decided to change the song entirely, creating the song "Final Distance". The Japanese Ministry of Education decided to incorporate Hikaru Utada's ballad "Final Distance" in the high school music textbook starting spring semester 2001, which was announced on 8th of April. In order to pass the proposal, they needed 313 points. The proposal was passed with 319 points. They will be targeting high school students in their second year to test the new curriculum. According to the publisher of arts in education, the song was chosen because it is closely familiar with high school students.

*If the video refuses to load means starhub(if you are using it) is at it again.*

Either version, this will still be my favorite song from her till date, from how the original song came about to how it has evolved.

Cheers,
Kenneth.

*Now to wait for the stupid GV Booking System to come back up. Either busy, showing maintenance or responding very slowly*
