His Sacrifice...

The thing about having only your fyp left for the entire term and also having a better computer than the one in school means I get to stay home most if not all the time. And that also means I got more time to blog, surf the net and channel surf at home.

Anyway yesterday's sermon is still fresh in my mind and I cant help but reflect back on it. Somehow everything the speaker said registered immediately in my mind. I felt as if he was talking to me and telling me what to do and explaining to me what I have to do. Maybe I was thinking too much but there was something that he said that somehow clicked in me. It was on Genesis 22 talking about Abraham. Will not dwell too much about it here as thats what my livejournal is for.

Anyway the song "My Sacrifice" by Creed sort of sum it up for me. Youtube is being funny again so the next best thing is Imeem. Kinda like the whole flood idea. Reminds me of the song by Jars of Clay though. Heh.

As usual, I was checking out the gundam modeling thread over at HardwareZone and I found inspiration for my next Gundam project after Crossbone(which is still sitting in its box, gonna start on that soon though).



Seems like after Dynames, somehow my passion for building gundam kits is back and the fact I need to "brush up" on my painting skills(ok lame joke sorry :P). Looks like I know what to get for myself for my coming birthday.


Decided to check out if I got the colours ready for Exia and from the looks of it, I got more than enough. Hehe... time to show off abit also to a certain someone(haha joking, let me know when u want to come over and do the painting as well).


Lastly, seems that my parents were abit worried about my lack of sleep these days and decided maybe I needed a new pillow.

And in other news(seems like I hang out too much in the movie threads), it seems that Tom Hanks is back again playing the role of Robert Langdon in the prequel to the quite a flop of a movie Da Vinci Code. This time its based on the book "Angels & Demons". A book I read back in army while I was on COS Trainee duty. The other actors to join Hanks are Ayelet Zurer, the female terrorist from Vantage Point and Obi-Wan himself, Ewan McGregor. Lets hope this one turns out better than the previous one.

Well its time for lunch so thats about it from me.
