Taking a break from my last minute packing and some other stuff I need to prepare for camp tomorrow so heres a quick update to what I have been busy with over the weekend.
"Get ready to feel the thunda!"
Went to catch Kung Fu Panda on friday with Janet, Charlene, Elliott and Eugene at GV Marina. In summary without giving away too much of the plot, I guess there were many lessons one can learn from the show like not judging a book by its cover, believing in yourself and the willingness to want to change. While these are themes that have been covered by many other movies, what makes this one enjoyable is the animation style coupled with the good voice acting and the moments where you can laugh together with the rest of the cinema. Recommended if you need a good laugh.
Then it was off to dinner and some drinks at Harry's where I got my first shot of the B52. I knew that it was meant to be downed in one go but I never expected the after effects to be that quick. Guess you could say I was "Bombed" by the B52.
Elliott and Janet taking turns to be the camera man & woman. And of course I do appreciate the effort to come as lolitas. =]
Saturday and Sunday were both busy hectic day with lots of things to do and lots of running around. From Reon's and Rossy's wedding service to the dinner at orchard hotel all in one go to settling all the last minute stuff for the camp next week. Think I just might have more sleep at the camp as compared to the last 2 days.
And last but not least, a big THANK YOU for all the presents. Looks like another part of operation makeover is done.
Cheers,
Kenneth.
