Its been an eventful last 2 days for me with lots of things to do and many many photos to take. Most of which has been sorted out and saved properly for future usage if need be.
Sunday started with Baptism service in church and since I had access to the D70, what better way to get all warmed up with some shots of the whole Baptism Service. More shots can be found on facebook.
This is the picture of the Baptism pool used in my church.
Next off was to have lunch at central with Daniel, Derick, Amos, Nat, YongHan and WeeFoong at Waraku. Took a shot of my sushi and soba meal but over exposed the shot so I think I will leave that one out.
Next off was to attend the Street Festival 2008 held at Suntec. Some of the guys followed me there to take a look at the cosplay stuff while my trigger happy finger started snapping away.
Other than cosplay, there were bands playing JRock as well.
Charlene came down later on and spent quite a bit explaining to me about this whole lolita culture and abit on these expensive dolls called Super Dollfies. While I still dun see myself cosplaying and dressing up with the whole lolita culture, thanks to her I do have a better appreciation for it. It sure is not cheap and takes a lot of effort and passion. Guess it should make me wanna put more effort into making sure I get good shots.
Not your average barbie dolls, these are expensive stuff.
Elliott, Janet and WeiMing joined us later for another round of photo taking. With the 2 girls taking pictures with me being the personal photographer and Ming looking like he is not going to get dragged into anything, guess what happened to Elliott?
Another shot for keeps :D
Monday was spent at home tidying up the pictures and buying bubble tea for my sister(and one for myself as well) after going down to Hougang central to pass my friend something.
Than it was off for the Media RTTP. Its good to see old faces once again to do abit of catching up and of cos see what they are have been doing for the past year and for the year to come.
I thought this was an interesting idea to introduce the people involved.
Left early to meet up with Derick, Jim, Lincoln, WeeFoong and Benny for dinner at Shokudo. Decided to be funny and try out the carbonara with wanton.
Interestingly enough, it did not turn out as bad as expected.
To end of the day, we headed over to TCC for drinks and to do some catching up before heading home.
I expect the following week to continue to be this busy with FYP going into high gear and other stuff to settle. Really looking forward to a break when I get a chance.
Cheers,
Kenneth.
